Since earning her degree in dentistry in 1999, Dr. Marta Becker has focused her practice on serving the dental needs of children. She is particularly interested in infant oral health, prevention and comes to Normandy Park with extensive experience in private practice, academia, hospital dentistry and community health centers.
Throughout her career, Dr. Becker has felt fortunate to be able to improve the oral health of young children, including those with disabilities. Originally from Venezuela, she feels especially privileged to be able to contribute to her community and provide dental care to the diverse population of the Pacific Northwest
After running a successful private practice for two years, in 2003 Dr. Becker began her career in academic dentistry and was appointed as clinical faculty at Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine. While in Boston, Dr. Becker provided instruction to dental students in pediatric and general dentistry and continued to provide direct care to underserved children in the state of Massachusetts.
Dr. Becker completed her master’s in Public Health in 2005 residency in pediatric dentistry at Boston University in 2010, and she is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Becker enjoys the diverse culture of Seattle and appreciates the many outdoor recreational opportunities present in the Pacific Northwest.
